Lucy Ferry is photographed by Robert Mapplethorpe for the cover of his book Some Women. 1988-1990 Fabienne Martin creates the management agency ARTISTS. 1993 She launches the American edition of Do or Die, photographs by Martine Barrat, forward by Martin Scorcese, cover text by Gordon Parks, followed by a travelling exhibition in Germany of Martine Barrat’s Harlem works sponsored by MERIAN/LEICA. 1996 She begins working with Iain Watson and Sheldon Heitner on the ongoing Shifting Forms medieval Japanese esthetics project, model Mari Onodera. 1998 Helmut Newton photographs the DANEMANN cigars' calendar with 12 FAM models. 1998-2001 After FAM, she becomes Artistic director of the international model agency NEXT. 1999 She edits and launches the first NEXT catalogue, art direction Marc Atlan, with an exhibition of photographs at MARION DE BEAUPRE gallery in Paris. Ali Mahdavi shoots a short feature film 13 rue Washington, inspired by the FAM spirit. 2003 Fabienne Martin founds EFFIGIES.
